Sliding Sash Windows
We manufacture and supply bespoke, traditional sliding sash windows to suit any requirements. Our windows are available in a variety of Timbers from Engineered Redwood to European Oak, and can be finished in any paint system of your choice to match existing joinery
Balance Systems
Our sliding sash windows are a modern version of traditional sliding sash windows. We offer both traditional pulley and weight systems as well as the modern and very popular spring balance system
Using high quality spring balances, we can reduce the box size of the window frames and ensure they fit in properties that were not originally built to suit sliding sash windows.
Our double spring balances provide a smooth operation that can be adjusted quickly and easily in situ without the need to add or remove weights like the traditional systems. This makes them much easier to install and adjust.
Glazing
All our windows are capable of taking double glazed units to meet building regulation U values, however we can also provide single glazing to adhere to conservation and listed property requirements
We also offer the new Duplex glazing system to give the appearance of Georgian style bars while still providing a double glazed unit to meet current building regulations. Our glazing bars adhere to the inside and outside payne of the glass unit and provide a 22mm slim bar line that was commonplace with single glazed windows of the past.

Draftproofing
We use Schlegel Aquamac, Deventer Sp5920, and various other high quality seals to ensure our windows slide seamlessly while providing thermal and acoustic barriers to adhere to building regulation U values.
Glazing
Our glazing comes with a 10 year guarantee from our supplier*. Our standard double glazed units consist of a 4mm low e coated payne with a 16mm warm edge spacer bar and a 4mm clear payne to produce a 24mm unit with a center U value of approx 0.9W/m2K.
Duplex systems use an 18mm bar inside the glass to produce clean lines that look like traditional georgian style windows.
All our windows are internally beaded to increase the security of our windows. See glazing bars below for further details
Hardware
We use a variety of hardware from several manufacturers to ensure your product matches your exact needs. Please see our hardware page for further details.
Timber
Our windows can be made in any timber to match existing joinery or adhere to listed / conservation needs. Our selection contains but is not limited to Engineered Redwood, Iroko, Idigbo, European Oak, Sapele, Siberian Larch, Accoya. Please see our Timber page for a full list of available timbers and suitability.
Glazing Bars
Our georgian glazing bars are available in 2 materials to suit your requirements. A composite bead is our most popular which is made from a wood and plastic blend to produce a stable, weather resistant bead, perfect for painting. Accoya is the other option which is best used where a stained / varnished finish is required.
All our glazing and georgian bars are adhered to the glass using high strength georgian bar tape and security tape. This gives the bars a bond that is extremely strong and increases the security of the windows.
Our glass units are bedded on 2.5mm butyl tape and perimeter sealed with Silfix U9 silicone. The internal beads are sat on sercurity tape and pinned in place to secure the glass in place to prevent removal.
